[Receptionnews] THIS WEEK PROGRAMME!!!!!!!!!!!! [7/11/05 to 13/11/05]

One of the best things about beigng an erasmus student in Ljubljana was the easy way we had fun and parties! The truth is that we didn't have to do much... We just had to sit down an wait for the weekly email with the subject "[Receptionnews] THIS WEEK PROGRAMME!!!!!!!!!!!!".
These emails were sent by the international office of the students organization of the University. These guys were working just for us to have fun, preparing stuff like parties, activities and trips!! They were awesome, those months wouldn't have been the same without them =)

Below you can see the email they sent for the week 7/11/05 to 13/11/05 with all the activities and explanations!



Monday 7.11.

Competition in dating strategies in Parlament pub between two nations this time Spain and Latvia at 21.00. You will have the opportunity to learn some typical words, to listen their music and of course having fun!!!

Tuesday, 8.11.

Party in Net Caffe with sloveninan students at 22.00. We will have special prices of drinks!!

Wednesday, 9.11.

DAY OFF!

Thursday, 10.11.

Debate in British Council on Sex, Drugs & Electroclash at 18.00 with Dražen Dragojević and Timothy Gallagher. Dragojevič studied English and Comparative Literature at the University of Ljubljana. He is a TV presenter, literary critic, editor, translator and actor. Gallager was born in Northern Ireland, has put life as a high-flying legal eagle to one side in order to teach English in Slovenia.

Travelers diary about Austarlia in KMŠ at 20.00 and later on party. There will be conversation with people who travelled there, people who live there, so it will be a great opportunity to find out something new and interesting about this country. THE DISCUSSION WILL BE IN ENGLISH!!

Friday, 11.11.

Traditional slovene dinner for Martinovo in restaurant Plečnikov hram. Martinovo is one of slovene traditional habbits. You need to apply till Wednesday 9.11. You will pay with student cupon. There will be a slovene music also. It will be one experience more with slovene culture.



Saturday, 12.11.

Sunday, 13.11.

TRIP TO VENICE!! Meeting point at 5.45 in the morning at parking place in Tivoli.

You need to apply till Wednesday 9.11. till 15.00.

Arrival to Punta Sabbioni at 10:00 and after the boat trip to Burano island. Sightseeing on the island and after the boat trip to Murano island, sightseeing in glass workshop. Departure to Venice and arrival at approximately 14:00, sightseeing Plazza San Marco and walk to Rialto. Free time.Departure at 17:15 and arrival to Punto Sabioni at 17:45. Departure to Ljubljana at 18:00 and arrival at approximately 22:00
Guided tour will be in english!
